I'm as creative as a gnat, however I have never let this stop me. Some projects are fine others are okay. Should I just continue or start giving my craft supplies away. icon

  • Practice can only help, also, seek out classes (some might even be free) to help you improve. The biggest thing is: Are YOU happy when you do things? Does the process make you happy or anxious? That should help you make up your mind.

Keep them and use them. The more you do the better you will get.

Do you enjoy making things? If so please Don't give up. No one starts out making professional looking crafts, it's practice, and trial and error. Each time you make something you learn a little more. Don't strive for perfection, go for creativity. Don't measure yourself against others. Do it for the joy of creating. You can buy perfection but you can't buy the satisfaction of knowing you made it. Keep crafting and have fun with it!

Do whatever makes you happy . The first candles I made looked awful but my house smelled lovely and I had recycled a wonderful gift . I read books and practiced . Twenty or so years later , people pay me to make specific personalized candles . It's a therapeutic process for me. I love it and I've branched out into soaps and other bath products . Each item taking time and patience to learn though . Nothing comes overnight or without effort .

Please don't give the supplies away. So long as you enjoy the crafting that's all that counts. You will get better with practice. There must be one area where you do better than others as we have, concentrate on that area and see what happens
