Should I paint my front door orange?

Yaaaaassss,

Paint it your favorite color no matter what! It will make you happy every time you drive up.

If it's too bold, you can always remix the leftover paint and try again.

go for it! house no. 2 was in a neighborhood that had all white houses and grey steel doors. I painted my doors barn red. only red doors for a few years. went back to visit a friend......multi colors on the doors of that block.

Try and orangeish red instead of Orange

I have seen it before, it can be done. Depends on how bright an orange you choose of course. The orange would be a nice bright color and accent with all the other colors on the house with white trim on the windows and garage it should work. Your house, your vision! ;)

Bright coral, yellow, lime green or some other bright, light green.

It is a door, if you don't like it then repaint. Suggested colors from Sherwin Williams - Emotional 6621 and Raucous Orange (both are red orange). If you really want to knock it out of the park Mandarin 6891 or Forceful Orange 6894. Forceful Orange I think is my favorite. When traveling in Ireland I always love all the colorful doors. I have yellow (not gold) doors. It will look so much better than black. It is also a very friendly look. Post a picture when you have painted.

Why not pick an aqua blue (not too bright) and hang a pretty orange wreath.

YES! If it is a color you love then paint it!! My front door is bright red with the body of my house being brown brick & black trimmed windows. My neighbors thought I was nuts when I was in the driveway painting it but now they love as much as it do!

I think that a front door is a great way to personalize your house. My home is an adobe tan, red tile roof, and I painted my door with a pearl lavender paint, mailbox to match. Over the years, I have had so many people tell me how much they love my door! :-)

Try red-orange as opposed to Halloween pumpkin orange. Red orange gives more options when decorating from porch area/house area. It will look great.
