A GROSS, SMELLY, DATED Kitchen Makeover Into a Chef's Dream!
Hi! I'm Jenn. I'm the Bachelorette Flipper, and I blog at The Bachelorette Pad Flip. I buy old, ugly, neglected houses and flip them all by myself! My latest flip, Flip 4, had such an awful kitchen with non-working dated appliances, a DIY countertop gone wrong, leaking sink, no floors, and awful lighting. So I transformed it!
What you can't see in the picture is how awful it smelled. But that was really the least of the problems in this kitchen. It needed a total overhaul...all while keeping the integrity of the space!
By keeping what I could, I began by getting rid of the ugly, the damaged, the non-working, and the stinky from the kitchen!
And then began the task of assembling a "new" kitchen every chef would love! Lots and lots of paint, new sheetrock, new appliances, new countertops, new floors, new lighting, new electrical, new hardware....were just the beginning!
Choosing a monochromatic modern gray on gray palette really brought this kitchen into the modern era!
