Silverware.

Silverware, old style small teacups (as long as you don't plan on placing your chime in a really windy area), cut down beer bottles with bells added to the line, even napkin rings work.

old CDs, bits of old costume jewelry , old keys or anything that jingles .

Anything metal that would have a nice sound.

Old table ware like knives, spoons and forks.

Pretty patterned Vintage silver ware is a cool choice!

Any thing that is metal, like a spoon, or a fork, or a item that is able to be strung thru with string, or nylon thread. You can use almost anything, in this matter. Get diff. ideas, and make yours diff., ok? Best wishes, Judy.

Most people handle these EVERY DAY...you can pick them up from your local hardware store...sometimes FREE...and they make an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT sound when they are made into a wind chime...keys...that's what I use...keys that are no longer used for anything because 'they weren't cut right or you don't know what they go to anymore'....keys...hung individually sound beautiful!

You can use an old colander with silverware strung from it. Keys, nuts as a weight, old chains strung with mini jingle bells, let your imagination go, just clank and clink things together that look nice and sound good together, sounds silly but it works..
