Why are the nails in my drop drown ceiling popping out ?

    should have used drywall screws

    We have used screws and they still pop out and crack the drywall🙀

      Do all of the screws pop out (YIKES), or is it the screws in basically the same place?

    A true drop ceiling has a grid and tiles are dropped into place (thus the term drop ceiling). The picture shown looks to me like drywall screws, are you sure it's a nail? If it is a nail, it must have been put in after (for whatever the reason) the ceiling was put in.

    Just be sure it is a nail, versus a screw.

    Temperture changes and humidity levels are causing the contraction and expansion of building materials to force the nails/screws out of the dry wall.

    Possibly not enough screws to hold the weight of the drywall boarding...
