How can I build a cheap, fence to enclose my dog in our backyard?

We rent our home, but my poor dog needs to have it fenced so she can spend more time outside. She is a English Bully and is strong. I would need it to be removeable since we rent and would like to take it with us eventually. Thanks.

You could use pallets, held in place by T-post. This way, whenever you move just pull them up and go. Plus if you move to a fenced yard you could recycle the pallets to make patio furniture or fencing for a garden!

a strong dog needs a strong fence. Don't scrimp on this. If you dog should get out and hurt someone the strength of thefence could be an issue in a lawsuit.

Good advice Mary. Thanks, I'm sure my husband will make it strong. Our dog is very sweet but you never know. Better safe than sorry.

100% pallets - it's the cheapest because you can get the pallets themselves for free!

You can drive by grocery stores at delivery time (early morning) - they often have from trucks. You can also post on Craigslist and see if anyone has - that works for a lot of Hometalkers!
