it's a weed. Pull it out before it blooms. It will go to seed and spread if you don't. Wear gloves.

Kind of looks like thistle to me, do not let it go to seed or you will have it everywhere. Not fun to step on or to pull out without thick gloves.
Definitely a weed with long tap root so dig it out before it properly flowers
Thats a type of thistle - if it blooms then goes to seed, they will be EVERYWHERE!

thistle. It is a weed. Don't get it started.
Nope... it is a thistle... in Fl. we call it "stinging nettle".... stings and burns a while... NOT pleasant. dig it out now before it spreads it's seeds everywhere.. use gloves.

yep-it's a thistle-the stem is fragile so if you pull it it will break and you'll get a white fluid all over your hands-if the boom they reseed prolificly-dig them out and bag them the birds drop the seeds
