Dogwood does really well in the shade. Boxwood grows pretty much anywhere and impatience are flowering shade pants. Hopes this helps.

Hostas and ferns are your best bet!
Hosta, astilbe, bleeding hearts, foxglove, prim roses, and any day lily will grow in shade. You can also use coral bells or some types of fern. Good luck!
