DOW Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner melts nicotine stains! Take down the blinds, lay them in the yard, spray with scrubbing bubbles, let sit for 15 minutes or so. I would scrub them with a scrub brush, but with bad knees, maybe try using a mop or broom. Then rinse with garden hose. Shake excess water off and rehang. Make sure you use DOW...the imitation at dollar store does not work.

I used Formula 409 and one of the blind brushes with the washable cover - worked great. I draped the blind over my outdoor deck rail and cleaned while sitting on a high stool. This worked to give a flat surface for scrubbing and the yucky residue went into the lawn. Then I rinsed with a garden hose and let it dry in the sun.

clamp on fence with slats flat (closed). Spray with bleach cleaner spray. Lightly wipe. Stains should run. Then rinse with hose. U can turn around for cleaning other side. Let sun dry. Done this every year for 10 yrs. Blinds still white and never rusted!

Pop the blinds into the tub with cold water and three cups of liquid bleach. Let the blinds soak for no more than 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry off.
