I'm renting a condo that has 2 full walls of mirrors. One in the dining room and one in the living area that is around the fireplace. Since I'm renting I can't make any 'real' changes And really don't want to be watching myself watching tv or eating - any ideas are appreciated!

That is a lot of mirrors! You cannot put anything on them for fear of ruining them. Check out panel curtains. For ex. INGAMAJ Panel curtains at IKEA. I would look at narrow book cases etc to cover them up . Useful space and a totally different look. For examples, look at Billy book cases at IKEA. You can use a combination of book cases and panel curtains to fill the space. There are lots of other options, corner book cases etc, book cases with and without doors.

I agree with the idea of using inexpensive curtains to hide the mirrors. You can use Command Hooks attached directly to the mirror and it won't hurt the mirror or wall. Easy on, easy off!

That was my thought- and book shelves as well. I also have a loft area I'm going to make into a bedroom area and was thinking of hanging curtains for privacy.

You can cover them with "Frosted or Stained Glass Looking Vinyl" available at Home Depot, etc. Like contact paper but is removable.

You can also paint them with glass paint that can be removed with paint remover.

When I was in boarding school we were not aloud to paint or damage the wall, one girl used a flat sheet attached with double stick removable tape And decorate an accent wall!
