Queen Size Chevron Patterned Headboard

Made with wood that was ripped the same width and length. I selected 6 different colors of stain and pre-stained some of the pieces of wood. Some pieces were left their natural color.
The plywood back was pre-painted Onyx Black in the even that there were any gaps that it would appear as a shadow.
Starting with the middle point at the bottom the first piece was cut at a 45 degree angle then secured. Once you have the first two pieces in place and everything is pre-stained the rest is downhill.
I then capped off the top with a simple trim piece and painted it Onyx Black. The main part of the headboard was then sealed with Polycrylic.

I appreciate that. But I first want to blatantly copy your idea!!!! If its an epic fail then I will place an order.

LOL @Cheri you won't be the first to copy my work. Please post my website when you post your completed work to let people know I helped to inspire you. I look forward to seeing your new headboard.
