What kind of paint would I use to paint a mural on my wooden fence?

I've used a good exterior paint. If you don't really need a full quart of one color, you can often buy sample sizes.

Apply one coat of acrylic-based exterior white paint. Paint your mural with acrylic paint. Finish with two coats of acrylic varnish. To answer your question, ACRYLIC!!!! ;)

Any paint you have will do, just spray a sealer to protect your artwork afterwards. I've used both and have had great success. Good luck.
