1 1/2 tbsp Borax detergent, 1 1/2 c water, 1/2 c sugar. Mix together and soak cotton balls in mixture. Place cotton balls near the ants!

I use a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water to spray my countertops. Also if you will take a piece of chalk (such as used on a blackboard) and just draw a line on the outside at the doorways entering your home, that will help keep all ants out. They do not like chalk and will not venture past the line.

Along the same idea as the chalk line, you can use Diatomaceous Earth products and sprinkle that along walls and other areas. Get a food grade product and it is safe to use around pets and children.

Use baby powder. Sprinkle a thin line every where you have seen them. Leave on for a week.

Find the nest sprinkle a packet of equal on it. The ants think it is sugar. They starve to death.
