Mason Jar Bouquet

One of my daughters recently had her last flute lesson of the year. I know her teacher likes mason jars, so I put together a cute mason jar bouquet. This project is a great teacher appreciation gift, or would be lovely as a centerpiece for a summer party.
For this project, I picked up what was labeled as a "hummingbird bouquet" at my local supermarket. The bouquet is like a regular bouquet, but the stems of the flowers are cut shorter. The only other supplies I needed was a mason jar (I used a pretty blue one), some burlap ribbon, scissors and a glue gun. And water, of course!
All I did was add water to the mason jar and add the bouquet. I then cut a small strip of the burlap ribbon, wrapped it around the mason jar and used the glue gun to glue into place. So simple!
My bouquet was a hit -- and it cost less than the more expensive arrangements I could have chosen at the supermarket. And because I purchased a four-pack of mason jars when I bought my mason jar for the project, I got to keep some mason jars myself. Bonus!
