We had some trees cut down but the stumps remain. Too difficult to remove. I was thinking about making a bench.

We hollowed out with a chain saw, filled with dirt and used it to plant annuals. Ornamental sweet potato trails down the stump nicely.

I used parts of tree stumps and made a nice simple bench with it. Also put some along a creek to sit on. They can b used sooo many ways. I also put them back of our property with logs across with red tape to deter midnight atv'rs.

Depending on size, hollow out the top enough to form a flower pot size depression. Plant away !

I just made a planter out of two....cut out as much of the tree wood as you can, deep enough to add soil and plant with succulents, ivy to trail down sides of stump or set a beautiful potted plant on top. Nice addition to the yard.

We had a real big tree trunk at our cabin that was in a good spot so I hollowed it out and put flowers in. The bark wore off and I painted it. Also put some of the pcs cut from that tree on each side of drway , painted them red and screwed a metal bin on and put flowers in. All the neighbors loved it and they are still there 12yrs later..
