Mid-Century Makeover for $1.50

$1.50

This slightly damaged side table was part of a lot of tables I picked up at an auction for $6. So I figure this cost me $1.50. All the paint etc I already had so all I added was my time and elbow grease.
The veneer on one drawer was damaged so I fixed it with wood filler. Then I sanded the rest and to my amazement, the walnut finish was GORGEOUS! I used my favourite walnut stain on the top and sides. I mixed up some homemade chalk paint for the drawers. I used "champagne" spray paint to clean up the brass legs and hardware.
Can you believe how gorgeous this is? I have it for sale but I am tempted to keep it. I am loving mid-century pieces these days.
