Hi everyone! Here is a super easy and cheap way to add a modern touch to your room decor and also to offer you some storage space : a golden pineapple jar :)

Materials:
-a big canning jar (750 ml) or mason jar
-about 50 plastic teaspoons + cutting pliers
-a piece of bendy cardboard (A4 size) -recycle a cereal box or something similar
-a toilet paper tube
-hot glue gun
-golden spray paint (or acrylic paint)

Clean the jar with warm water and soap. Use the pliers to cut the heads of the teaspoons. Glue a first row at the bottom of the jar, using the glue gun, then a second row above, right in between the lower one, and so on, creating a beehive pattern.

For the leaves of the pineapple crown, you will need to cut from the cardboard 3 sets of triangles, of 10 pieces each, of different sizes, following the instructions bellow:

After cutting out all the pieces, bend the edges to form leaf shapes.

After cutting out all the pieces, bend the top of each piece, to form a leaf shape.
Cut along the toilet paper tube, then bend it to form a cone shape. Cut the excess from the base so it can stand, and glue it on the cap of the jar.
Next glue the leaves on the cone, starting with the biggest ones at the top, and the smallest ones at the bottom, to form the crown of the pineapple.
Last step is to spray some paint and leave it to dry. You can use it as a piece of decor, but you can also store things in it, like crayons, makeup or coins.
