That depends on how long you will live there. If less than 5 yrs keep same boring builders cream color,if more then 5 yrs then go for it and enjoy each ones personality. Painting isn't easy nor cheap. And prep work is the most important thing to do. But it's worth it if you use quality paint and if it makes you smile. Chances are that there is a bathroom close by if so you can use all colors in towels and soap pump and shower curtain so it's cohesive. I would paint the bathroom white.

I personally feel each is a blank slate to give its own personality. I wouldn't think to put the same bedspread in each room. Your home is your personal oasis so do what makes you feel the most comfortable and relaxed.

I have painted them all different colors however, I have kept all of them with muted colors that I put together before I started. It helps to look at examples of rooms with dark rich colors or pastels or farmhouse colors. Most paint stores have a great sample book with colors that work well together. Check out fixer upper of you like a farmhouse theme.

Try same color in different shades. Then vary your accent colors.

My friend was in a similar situation. She ended up buying wrapping paper in the colors she was thinking of at the dollar store. (they might not have been exact, but close enough) She hung up the wrapping paper where it would be the most visible and used it to see what she thought. She decided to go with all different colors. People seem to automatically see a door and consider what's beyond that to be a "new space."

To me, a lot would depend on what the other bedrooms are used for. Guest rooms? Then yeah, might as well paint them all the same color. Office/sewing room/sanctuary/man cave? Who will use the room the most and are they willing to live with the color? Kids? Let them pick the colors they want. One of the coolest things I remember growing up was being allowed to pick the colors of my room when I was ten. I picked lime green and shocking pink. Yes, now I think upon it and cringe, but back then? I thought I was the luckiest kid in the world.

I usually paint one wall a bright accent color. The rest a muted shade in any light shade like tans or beige. Then co ordinate my bed covers and window treatments to the bright wall. The money part will be low, if u continue that theme throughout, except the semi or high gloss accent wall.Sometimes u can find a shade u like on the 50% off table!!.

First, if they are to be an actual bedroom, you need soft, muted, relaxing color. Naturals are best - beiges, celery green, warm light gray. If the room is going to be used for a specific activity go with a color that matches. I don't paint all my bedrooms the exact same color, but I do like to keep the colors in the same 'family.' For example, different shades of a warm gray or soothing greens. These colors will "even out" once you start accessorizing.
