It's difficult to say without a closer look at the leaves and the flowers. How high is it?

I don't know the proper Botanical identification but, in Ontario, Canada, it goes by the common name of "Snow in Summer". It's very pretty.

  Lenore, it is cerastium tomentosom or snow in summer a perennial which will spread slowly and bloom each year.

  Thank you! I kept trying to search and I kept getting other results. Thank you. Do you know much about them? I inspected it and it looks like it's dying from the roots, I just cut the flowers, it says it's pretty easy to maintain.

I don't know the name but have some though mine have never flowered. They go to seed and spread prolifically if not kept in check. Anybody know why mine don't have the pretty flower?

  I was reading up on them, it is snow summer, the name mentioned above. I apparently didn't dead head them in time and they are turning brown in the middle, good luck. Read up on them
