If you want a more formal appearance, prune again during summer, after traditional flowering. For more blooms, try cutting back the rampant shoots every two weeks during the summer."
There are different varieties of wisteria. Are you sure it is in the right location with enough sun? I had a trellis vine that took 9 years before it started to bloom. I would also make sure you are pruning it correctly towards the end of the summer
oh I feel for you, I planted my wisteria when we moved to our house in central pa. and waited 30yr.'s for it to bloom. 4yr's ago it started to bloom, first year it only had 5 blooms, then the next year it had 10 blooms and this year it was full of beautiful purple flowers. as others have said it takes years, i'm just so happy we have been in this house long enough to see it bloom.

Don't fret just yet. Wisteria must be seven to 15 years old before they are old enough to bloom. It just needs more time.
Don't even prune, let alone cut the Wisteria back. If you do, it will never bloom.

We had a wisteria under a porch overhang that never bloomed. We moved it to the back yard in full sun and it took over everything.
