I would like to grow food items that can be used to make healthy salads.
My daughter and I like growing plants for our houses. Being able to grow our own salad items would be super.

My daughter sells gardens that can be planted and maintained at home and takes up very little space and maintenance is at a minimum. Would you like her contact information?

There are so many wonderful examples for indoor gardens out there. Try Google search.

Player round with your word selection in the search box till you find what you're looking for.

    Enjoy.

.Sorry, I don't know much about indoor gardens, but I have been successful growing porch, patio, and bucket gardens, using 5-gallon buckets. Depending on your growing zone, you might try tomatoes, celery, lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, onions, squash, and spinach. I have successfully grown all of these. I would encourage you to read everything you can find about container gardening. It can be lots of fun. Good luck.

An aquarium, a growlight, styrofoam, and goldfish {and food for the fish} Directions online/Youtube. Everything besides the goldfish can be found at garage sales, etc or bought new. The goldfish provide the nutrients the plants need and the plants provide the oxygen the fish need. With this set up you can grow more than just salads. You can grow strawberry's, spinach, baby kale, tomatoes, and so much more. If you went bigger and if you eat fish you can also have an aquaculture set up. Both set ups are good because they are, without doubt, organic and believe it or not, can be extremely cheap.

I have four, yes four, AeroGardens and I cannot recommend them enough! They were all bought used and, after two years, they are still going strong. I have grown all kinds of lettuces, banana peppers, kale, chard, many kinds of tomatos (they require the 24" version), and more basil that one could ever hope for. Check your local Craigslist and give one a go - easy, productive, and lights up dark corners on my kitchen counters!

Container gardens have been around for quite a while, you just need enough window space to put your pots.

Awesome!! Im the daughter that my Mom was referring about.

I sell aeoroponic Tower Gardens. You dont need a green thumb for this. You will grow produce 3x faster and produce 30% greater yeilds, as well as use 90% less water and space.

I invite you to my website where you make a one time investment and have years and years of benefit. You will save so much on cost buying produce in the store. This is fool proof. go for it! You will be happy.

8 ft folding table, florescent light fixtures with "grow" bulbs. sterile potting mix and the right sized containers for the plants you want to grow. a min of 60 degrees is needed to grow most things. small stuff on the table, larger under, just off to side with lights above. my plants spend the winters indoors, get kicked out in the spring. lettuce, herbs, kale, produce all year for me.
