I use a 50/50 solution made from 90% alcohol and distilled water. Just mix half and half and put it into a spray bottle. Sometimes I add 1 drop of blue food coloring so it looks like windex.

You need to purchase a window cloth from www.norwex.com, they are micro fibre cloths with silver in them.... Only use water.... No chemicals..... Best thing I have ever purchased for glass and mirrors...

I use two types of vinegar solutions for windows.

Outdoor windows get a solution of 2 cups water to about 1/4 to 1/3 cup vinegar and a small amount of Dawn dishwashing detergent (about 1/2 tsp) in a spray bottle. I try to use lint free microfiber towels and a squeegee if possible to clean. Also, cleaning in early morning or close to sunset when the sun isn't directly on the windows is recommended.

For my indoor every day window and mirror cleaner - equal parts water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Clean the same as outdoor!

Windex, or Vinegar - this is the best. When you clean the outside, stoke the glass in one direction, and the inside, with another direction, then you will know if there is a area, where it needs more cleaning. Best wishes, J.

mix half vinegar and water in any type of container. Crunch up some newspaper and clean away. If there's any liquid left over when you are done, pour it over an ant mound or pesky weeds.
