Cut off the tops on 3 sides and use to start seeds.
punch holes in the lid and use as a watering can
put small holes in the bottom and set beside thirsty plants, fill and let slowly drain out to water the plants

you can make garden tools out of them. water holders for plants . pet feeders , art untincel holders , paint brushes , crayons , color pencils , yarn holder . cut the end off and glue together , store shoes , socks ...etc , cut into rinngs and make art
I would use one and fill it up with water and water all your potted plants.
When I have a large planter,I will put the containers in the bottom of the pot, that way it is not as heavy and you do not have to use so much soil. Just pour soil over containers.
