Patriotic Light Up Glass Block

I love using my glass block and adjusting it to every season. With just a few items you can make this is a very simple project just in time for the 4th of July.

You'll need:

A glass craft block (Hobby Lobby)
Window Clings (Dollar Tree)
LED lights (Dollar Tree)
You'll want to make sure your craft block has a hole in the top. Add your LED lights into your glass block through the hole. You can use battery operated lights or plug in lights - your choice. I found these cute star shaped LED lights at Dollar Tree. I could have just put those in the block and left it just like that - they are so cute.
Pick the window cling you like, mine was a bit big so I used a scissors and trimmed it to fit my block. Once you have it sized correctly, place your window cling onto your glass block. Another option would be to add several smaller window clings inside instead.
Place your block somewhere in your home or perhaps on your porch or deck. Turn on your lights and you're done. Pretty simple right?
We use ours in one of our bathrooms as a nightlight.
This simple idea can be changed for each season.
