Patriotic Yard Light

Just a couple flower baskets and some lights and you have a hanging outdoor light. It's easy and inexpensive! This light can be used inside or outside & it's great for any celebration.

You'll Need:

2 hanging flower baskets (Dollar Tree)
2 packages battery operated lights (Dollar Tree)
For your first step, you'll remove the hanging chain from one of the flower baskets.
Turn your other flower basket this way as this will be how you will hang it.
Using the clips from the top/hanging flower basket, hook both baskets together.
It'll look like this when you are finished clipping them together.
You can use battery operated lights if you want, but you'll need a power source near by to use it. I opted for battery operated LED lights so that I could place this light wherever I wanted it. You can use plain lights, colored lights, and I opted for start LED lights since I'll be using this for the 4th of July.

Place your battery packs from your LED lights on the bottom of the flower basket. Secure them into place with glue or zip ties. I opted for glue. If it'll be outside you'll want to use silicone or E6000 - something to stand up to the weather.
Dangle your lights around inside your flower baskets weaving them in and out of the bars.
Here is what it will look like. I used a few ornament hooks to hold the wires in a few places to spread them out.
Hang it outside (or you could use this inside as well). We hang ours on our on the rail above our chair swing. It adds a little light and ambiance while sitting in the swing.
This is what it'll look like at night.
