One of the best things about warm summer nights is sitting around, relaxing and enjoying the sweet air - but, we didn't have a place to sit! So, Spencer and I started looking for outdoor tables but couldn't find anything we loved. We wanted a beautiful but sturdy picnic table for our backyard since we knew our kids would be dining there as well. I finally had to idea to just build one. Spencer and I made the plans and decided where to put the legs. I wanted a table with space for feet - and I didn't want to kick something in the middle. After we had our design, we set out to Home Depot and chose cedar so it would withstand insects and the natural elements that come with living in Utah. It is beautiful, sturdy and rustic and perfect for family dinners in the comfort of our backyard! We love gathering together and enjoying hot dogs right from our fire pit!
We can easily fit adults at the table and can pull up some stools for the ends if we need too.
We made sure it was long enough to hide the benches under for easy storage.
