insert the screwdriver into the screw. Give it a good wack with a hammer to dent or remove the paint. Without removing the screwdriver, press down and slowly unscrew the screw

See if you can scrape out paint inside the grooves of the screw. Funny I saw an idea today on how to get stripped out screws removed. They laid a rubberband over the screw head and used it to 'grip' the screw, sort of like the rubber jar openers you find at the store. Pretty smart.

Pamela has the right idea. I like to use the corner of a flat screwdriver and hit with my palm or a hammer to chip the paint out.

Try using a small metal brush on a adrenal to remove the paint, pat on good off and let set at least 15 min, wipe and try!

Use a old screw driver and tap it with a hammer in the middle of the screw. This will work as it loosens the screw.
