While I have never grown caladiums, my research shows most traditional varieties do better in partial shade, but some newer breeds might tolerate more sun if the soil is kept consistently moist. Having a full-sun, west-facing, yard, I have had some flowering bushes not thrive, including a small rose plant. However, butterfly and bee friendly flowers tend to do well all season...just a throw-in thought!

Caladiums will tolerate some morning sun but not full sun.

A few newer varieties can take more sunlight, the majority of caladiums are best suited to locations with part shade to full shade and will burn if exposed to too much sun.

Nice choice of flowers. They do not thrive in full sun. Morning sun has less heat and they'll grow well when planted where they get only that.

Not the regular ones. But there are shade tolerant ones available.

Thanks everyone. I've got them planted under elephant ears. Do you think that might help or should I just go ahead and move them?
