I have used the prescription bottles to start off little plants 🌱 , I have also used them for bobby pins, barrettes, and hair ties.

I saw a lamp shade made from layers of hanging strands of pill bottles. In the picture it looked cool. I assume they cut the open edge off with the tabs they looked like "golden" tubes. I think it was on Pinterest.

@Dicknruth40. I don't know how clever it is, but I join many crafters and sew-ers in keeping small supplies in the bottles, with big labels so I can find things quickly. Everything from buttons to snaps to tiny Super Glue tubes to wiggle eyes have a medicine bottle-turned-storage in my craft closet. And in the garage, I had extra time one fall, and I separated screws from loose drill bits and roofing nails, etc. I didn't have wall space to display these, so they are all in a labeled shoe box. Perhaps this will give you some ideas. Best wishes 😇

I use them a lot of ways. I keep one filled with quarters for parking meters or tolls in my glovebox. I put disposable earplugs in one while traveling. Same with hard candy or lozenges for dry throat. Those extra buttons that come with better blouses go in one. I put salt/pepper/sugar packets in them for lunches so they stay dry. Tiny brads, sequins, pins, paper clips, etc. Whatever you do be sure to peel off the prescription labels so no can get personal info if you discard them.

If you are a crafter you can use them to hold small items such as beads, glitter, buttons. If you aren't you can use them to store your loose change in, earring backings, rings. Just a few thoughts; hope this helps!

They are great for lotions, creams, and for travel. I use them as home made mini first aid kits, change holder, they are good for emergency cups.
