Rustic charm. It's all the rage in the interior design world. From sliding barn doors to farmhouse sinks, this simple style is universally appealing. So, whether your mornings start feeding chickens or with a subway commute to the office (or both!), there's no reason you can't enjoy that morning cup of coffee at your very own farmhouse style table. Here, we share with you how to build your own for under $100! Scroll through the pictures for an overview then click on the link for the full tutorial.
We started this project by measuring our lumber.
Next, we cut it down to size.
Now for the fun part.....distressing the wood!
On to assembly. First the frame.
Then the tabletop.
Next up....legs!
By this point, your farmhouse table will look like this. A blank slate for finishing!
We chose a medium stain (minwax honey). Feel free to go darker, lighter, or use paint!
If staining, don't forget the poly!
Who's ready for dinner?!?
