Faux Mosaic Tile Frame Beveled Mirror
I painted this mirror frame years ago and it went into storage because I had no place to hang it. I brought it out of storage a few months ago and I'm going to put it in the bedroom. I just need to decide if it should go on the wall or the floor.
It's 41 x 39 and is quite heavy but could still be put on the wall. I'm wondering if it is tall enough to be left on the floor or should it sit on something?
Sometimes deciding where to put things can be a pain in the booty!
I used several different paint colors and mixed some together to get the color I wanted to use
Since I did this a few years ago some of the paints above might be new but I usually replace with the same colors. A creature of habit I guess!
It was a dresser mirror from the 80's. I worked on it here and there for about a month.
I don't have any before pictures but it's rattan and was light brown but I wanted to keep it because it is a beveled mirror and a very nice solid piece!
I wanted a mosaic but didn't want to make it heavier by adding tiles to it so I painted it by hand to look like a broken tile mosaic frame! I love it and can't wait to display it!
