DIY Dollar Tree Wall Plates : $10 faux mirror/metal wall decor
Posted on May 21, 2017

I have really, really been loving the whole DIY dollar tree movement and decided to create the DIY mirror collage that has been all over youtube and pinterest.

It was super early, inexpensive and I LOVE what the mirror does to my living room. So much so, that I decided I wanted more DIY dollar tree projects! This time silver plates that give off that medallion metal look!

I really wanted some wall decor that would add a little texture to my living room. I love wall medallions but they can be extremely expensive so much like my kitchen, I decided to get crafty! Since the liquid nails was just laying around from my kitchen project, this wall art cost me less than $10!

Step 1: Line up 6 plates and glue each plate onto the board. Then glue two plates on top of the 6 for a 3D look.

Step 2: Allow to dry for a few hours. Since the board and plates are really light, I was able to just nail the board down on my wall. It’s sturdy and secure this way.

For this project you will need a few things:
  • Large Platter Plates (I got mine from the dollar tree, purchased about 8)
  • Board (also got from the dollar tree!)
  • Adhesive (I used liquid nails http://amzn.to/2r6aGTS)
