Brick Fireplace Makeover

The original fireplace was quite outdated with our new look in the house so after some thinking we decided to paint the brick!
- Remove all knickknacks and clean the brick with soap and water. Gently scrub with rag to remove loose particles from the brick
- Tape off trim/walks and mantel (I left the mantel on the wall).
- Prime the brick or use a paint with primer in it (I used Olympic semi gloss Gibraltar Gray)
- Let dry and you're done!

Great job. Even the mantle looks different. Love fireplace makeovers from Hometalkers after I did mine. So many different ideas.
