Anyone know what these are?

I bought all three sets of plants from a nice couple down the street from me that grows tons of great veggies & plants. I stop by a few times each spring to grab a few things. This year he told me that when he got the seeds some where simply labeled "mixed flowers" instead of the usually individually labeled packs. So it's more of a surprise get what you get kind of thing. I planted them and they are doing great now.

Does anyone know what the top two pots are called? I know the top but can't think of the name off the top of my head. The middle pot has a pansy but I'm not sure what the other plants are. Bottom pot is a geranium I believe.

Maybe I should have paid more attention to the things my mom would say as I was forced to weed as a kid lol!

The plant to the far right is a Geranium, and the one in the middle appears to be Petunia, I am unsure what else is in the pot. I am unsure what the plant on the left is.

  • Not sure about the top pot, but the middle and bottom pot looks like bee balm to me and the last is geranium.

When I first brought it home I got a something of it in the breeze, my husband and I both thought it smelled "minty." Sort of in the middle of peppermint and spearmint. I've never grown my own herbs before, so I am unfortunately ignorant to most herbs. But definitely a minty kind.

Ahh! It was on the tip of my tongue. Zinnia, I think it might be some variety of that. I'll start lookin around online to see if I can pin point the closest match. Thanks!

I think the one with the flower is definitely some kind of Zinnia, the middle one is globe or thai basil with a little bit of dill, and the far right is geranium.

The one on rhe right does appear to be geranium. Perhaps the neighbor you purchased them from can identify the others now that they are larger. Have you asked?
