When we are talking about recycling woods, a construction area can be one of the best spot! If you are familiar with the family game called " Jenga", you could for sure see why this bench is named the Jenga bench.
With different piece of wood that I thought would be a good way to build it without too much.  I liked simplicity, so seeing that I needed a better stool for my kitchen would make a great addition at home.
To get started with this project I had to break down all the pieces needed from the wooden plank I've found in the trash container.
Because this stool only used small parts I was able to cut the thin slats with my miter saw.
These pieces are just over 35 cm long for 9 cm large and for this project you will need 22 of them.
Each slat then had an edge cleaned up at the table saw with a taper sled.  I first start by cleaning each pieces with the sanding machine to have a flat surface and this also allowed me to get a decent cut at the miter saw to cut the pieces to final length
Using the same process that the Jenga game, I have been able to build one piece after the other the entire bottom part then for the top and final part I just needed to put 4 pieces next to each other (if you cut them well enough, they will give you a perfect square).
I like this finish the best for reclaimed wood indoor projects as it retains the natural wood look without darkening over time.
I hope as usual that this project will inspire you to recycle more and catch you next timeicon

looking forward in seeing you're ideas on kid's bedroom. I have a grandchild that's in that age ready to leave sleeping with mom .So if you can make it interesting for a 5 year old boy to want to stay in his own bed room would be nice.Well can't wait.
