Just curious - why did you go to the trouble of masking off the glass in the frame before painting the frame rather than just remove the glass to paint the frame, since you were going to remove it again to add the picture? Seems like a lot of trouble for nothing to me.

I very much appreciated the real answers to this question instead of the one snarky one I got! I truly thought it was an unnecessary step, but thought maybe she had a reason for it. The projects are cute and worth doing!

What happens when the candle melts into the glitter?

If using a real candle, I suggest using another glass container, a cylinder vase one that would fit the pillar. Some glitters can be flammable.

I love the candle holder, got my stuff today. Do you, or anyone out there, know what could be put into the glitter, pearls, etc. to hold it still should it be picked up and shaken or otherwise mixed up? My granddaughter picks up everything and I would hate to make it without the option to make it permanent. Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks.

Put it on a high shelf or hide it and put it out when she leaves.

Wow, a project I can do..! Not the glitter or pearls. Maybe a Christmas theme. I've had the vase ever since rescuing a starving betta from it but didn't know what to do to it...my first project...wow.

Cheaper than glitter....sugar or salt. Works great.
