If you would like continuous blooms, you would 'dead head' or pinch off the dead blossoms.

Any type of flower that continues to bloom for a extended time should be dead headed (pinch off dieing flowers), but be aware of the flowers that bloom once and done, should have the rest of the plant to die off natural the spreading of more flowers happen at this time for next season. Also the nutrients from the flower go back down to the bulbs.
