Do you know how to prevent tomato wilt? Is there something my soil needs? Thank you

Hello Peggy; if your Tomatoes are heavy due to age, they will naturally wilt. If that is not the case, I would use Peters plant food and I would generous apply to the Tomato plants.
Are your plants in cages, or stakes?? If not, then the Tomatoes will wilt. How does the leaves and fruit look?

are you planting the tomatos in the same spot each year? If so, you might have something in the soil. If that is the only spot for them, you might consider planting them in pots or buckets of soil for a couple of years and work on getting the soil up to snuff with compost, additional topsoil, fertilizer etc.
when ours wilt, we water them and they perk back up almost immediately.
Often, you just need more water!
