I made a fun decorative cupcake holder that can also be used as a (flameless) candle holder!
As you see on the left a vase and a little plate were glued together with E600 clear glue. The glass pieces came from the thrift store. They were washed in vinegar water and then dried. Be sure that what ever vase you use to glue to the little glass plate ,it does not have a thin neck- you want a thicker neck vase. That will help to keep it from tipping over!
Next the pieces were glued with the E600 and left to dry . Then I flipped them over and little dots of the E600 clear glue were put around the inside lip of the piece you are looking at. You might see a little spot of the glue to the left of the opening I put 6 little spots of glue around the rim. Let that dry.
It will hold the round vase in place, when using it this way. I set it at a angle, then drop in a Dollar Tree flame less candle what ever season it is , Christmas or Easter. You can also place some greenery around the base on the table. It makes a nice little center piece :)
Here it is being used as a special holder for the Birthday person's cup cake. I used this yesterday for a grand child . The kids loved it!
As you can see my cat  thought it was her birthday. It became a Kodak moment!
