    It looks like Lambs ear that has bloomed except Lambs ear blooms purple. Take the picture to your local Extension office or Nursery. They will better be able to tell you.

    Looks like Loco Weed or also known as Skunk Cabbage.

    Looks like it may be Mullein. It is a weed but it is also called a medicinal herb. It's used for several things. So if you are into medicinal herbs....

    It is mullein...I let them grow...Monarch Butterflies love them...and I love the butterflies

    Mullein is a wonderful treatment for chest congestion. Seeds have to go through a digestive system before it will sprout. It is so hardy, it will grow between cracks in a sidewalk. Monarch butterflies are attracted to the blooms and gold finches are attracted to the seeds left after blooms fall.

    I agree. But in Florida, we call it Mullen. It is boiled and used as a poultice for aches, pains, and sprains. It really works if you know how to prepare it. It grows really well in sandy soil. I have tried to get it to grow in Tallahassee, which has clay soil; with no success. I love the plant just for old time sakes.
