My son borrowed my car recently and returned it with black magic marker on charcoal grey leather upholstery. Although both are dark colors, the black is showing through the charcoal. How do I remove the ink without damaging the leather upholstery?

Use clear hand sanitizer to dissolve the ink then follow with leather cleaner
Try your owner's manual and car dealership. I would hesitate to suggest a method without talking to them first
maybe try "erasing" it off with one of the professional grey gum erasers...or, if you have a spot where you could test "graffiti remover" on the leather first. I use the graffiti remover on permanent markers on my whiteboard & stuff...good luck.
Try hair spray.
Hello Sweet Pea :) HAIRSPRAY will get the permanent marker off your leather seat, followed by a quick wash with mild, slightly soapy water and wipe down with damp rag for a rinse. THEN give it some conditioning (2nd link posted)
