Planting Table for the Deck

This planting table was originally an old tv console. What to do with it? It was well constructed and had the doors with shelves inside so I could hide my flip flops and gardening shovel and gloves--- but boy it was dated. I am kind of height challenged so it was perfect for me for small planting projects. Soooo- my husband took a pallet apart and cut the wood pieces to fit and covered the ugly with distressed wood. Then he added the underside of the pallet for the shelves to set on. He added one of my favorite old windows for effect and I love it! Now all my friends want one, so Goodwill shopping they go!

I love this! I've been trying to source old windows but it's reallllly difficult in Northern Ireland. Small time :p I might have to go to some salvage yards and see what I can get my hands on
