I had a bunch of cinder blocks taking up space on my sidewalk so I decided to make something pretty out of them.
Started by laying out the blocks trying to figure out what would work best for the plants and flowers I had
After I had them all stacked, I put rock in the bottom holes up to the base of the top blocks, then I cut a square of construction screen & put on top of the rock & then a square of landscape fabric on top of that - next the dirt and flowers/plants - patio block for my planter of lillies, river rock and border to fill in
Found the fountain at Lowes for the finishing touch
Suggested materials:
  • 9 concrete blocks
  • Landscape fabric
  • Construction screen

Done almost the same. Planning to make a bench using the cinder blocks; two on both sides with the holes in a vertical manner and on top two blocks in a horisontal manner. Use any type of planks for the seat.
