What kind of paint for outside mobile home door?

would like a durable paint my dog scratches on this door to come in and really messes it up

I would suggest putting a metal plate kick on the bottom, depending on how high up he scratches. They also make metal grates you can screw into the door. Not the most attractive, but would stop the scratching.

Install a metal kickplate - think restaurant kitchen doors - then you can paint whatever you wish and the dog can scratch . . .

Sand it down smooth. Clean per instructions Rustolium [2X cover] for painting all surfaces including plastic, alum, steel. Great paint. They have a clear coat you can use to help with durability. Walmart has this for less that $4. a can.
