How do I stop window crank handles from becoming loose?

    There should be an allen screw you can tighten. If it continues to get loose the hole has gotten slightly oversize. May be time to get new handles.

    Make sure those little screws are tight. If it still wobbles they may need to be replaced.

    there should be a screw to tighten when the handle bends off the shaft, or try turning the handle back on itself.

    Temporary fix- wrap the shaft with a bit of Teflon tape .

    Teflon tape is the smooth, white stretchy tape used in plumbing. Wraps around the treaded pipe before you screw on the shower head and prevents leakage because it fills the gaps in the treads. This could help for short term usage while waiting for your new handles to arrive. Repeated use will wear out the tape - it's not meant for that.
