Sure! Just poke some holes in the bottom for proper drainage. I think it will look reallly cute! ☺
Absolutely! You'll be able to place it in a prime sun location for the plants you want to grow in it, plus it will be easy to care for! Herbs should do especially well, but so will annual plants and flowers. Unless you bury it in the ground or you live in zones 9 or 10, I wouldn't plant perennials. They will not overwinter well even in your "giant" container.

A baby pool would work great for a "raised" garden. Just don't plant anything that needs deep roots like long carrots, You can do this easily!
