Are you referring to the gas filled double panes? Does it look like a frosty winter's day in mid July? If so, contact the manufacturer, there should be a lifetime warranty for replacements. Mine are Simonton and they have a little sticker on the side that gives the serial number, in the tiniest print imaginable. There is no repairing them. If this is not your issue, the other posts are helpful for reglazing.

  Your advice came as a total surprise to me. But first I must say that my home is 40 years old now and these are the windows that were originally installed. And yes they are (were) gas filled. I have examined the window to find any information similar to what you described. But, nothing like that is visible. I did have a window specialist out to do something to the big Living roo9m picture window. He drilled tiny holes ..one at the top and another at the bottom. Then he inserted tiny vented silicone plugs into the holes that were to allow some venting and moisture escaping from the inside between layers of glass. It has not been totally successful and obviously I lost any gas that remained. So it looks like a total window replacement. $$$$ bucks for that job (then the clean up and all damage that occurred to refit the new framing etc.. Big job .. no fun here.

  I don't envy you one bit. I, personally, would contact the manufacturer and see if they would be willing to replace. They may object to the alteration done by the window specialist, but it would not have had to be done, if they had provided a reliable product. You would still have to pay for the removal and install, but the window is the bigger of the price tags, right?
