Hello everyone! I really want to share with you one of my favorite projects I made so far. This beautiful, rustic decor transformed my wall and the whole room! I also included in the video an extra step on how to make your own paper flower that looks realistic. I hope you will find it useful. Also you will learn the trick of creating aging wood effect using only paint and sand paper or nail file. Overall this project was really easy to make and very cheap.
Materials:
-Picture frame
-Glass bottle (from the dollar store)
-Twine
-All purpose glue
-White acrylic paint

Remove the backing of the frame and the glass.

Add a layer of white paint. Using a big brush will create beautiful lines that resembles wood.
After dried use sand paper or an old nail fail to scrape off some of the paint.
Mark the middle of the top of the frame, tie a knot , then pass the twine around it a few times.
Don't forget to leave a loop, so you can hang the frame on the wall. Also use glue to secure better the twine on the frame.
Once you're done, leave at least 40 cm of twine before cutting it. You will need it to tie the bottle .
Wrap the remaining twine around the neck of the bottle a couple of times, securing it with glue also.
Leave about 5 cm of twine between the frame and the bottle neck so it can hang in the air.
And you are done! Don't forget to watch the video tutorial for this on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OBSluHb38w) to see the steps in more detail and also as a bonus how I made the flower to put in the vase from a napkin ,wire and watercolors.

Using white school glue(tacky to touch) brush on desired top color. As the glue dries it crackles showing darker color underneath giving the distressed look.
