Cleaning grout is sometimes a very time intensive activity, especially if you have tiny tiles, and lots of them!

I searched around looking for some easy and effective ways to clean tile grout and tried a few out in my own apartment bathroom where my grout was an eyesore, growing yellow, pink, and brown spots in the grout lines!

I looked for simple, affordable, and effective ways to clean grout lines. The first one I tried was the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! They are very versatile and easy to use with no prep or clean up afterward.
Another option is using the cleaning staples of vinegar and baking soda. There are a few ways to do this. I used a spray cleaning vinegar (Four Monks Vinegar) and spray my tile and grout with it. I let it sit for a minute as I made a baking soda paste with some water. I then scrubbed the baking soda mixture into the grout lines using a grout brush (but a toothbrush works great too!). Rinse it off and dry when you're done!
The last method I used to clean grout lines was my steam cleaner! Cleaning with just the power of steam and a nylon brush tip is very effective! Once your water is heated up and ready to go, scrubbing with the steam cleaner is fast and effective.

Thanks for the reminders with the addition of the steamer! Need to dig mine out if the other methods aren't satisfactory.

I clean my shower by using shampoo and a brush. Keep a bottle and brush in your shower and wet the brush and apply shampoo and scrub away. Let sit while you shower and rinse away when done. I pick a wall every time I shower and never waste time scrubbing. My shower looks like the day it was done and I never worry about having to clean it!
