there is a Behr paint app that you can use. you use the camera to determine the color you have and it gives you suggestions for matching shades and jues. 8^)
If you have dark furniture, it is probably best to go with lighter walls, and vice versa. That will give you a nice contrast and show off your furniture. Choose a wall color that complements the paint color or wood tone of your furniture pieces so the room will be coordinated.

I wouldn't worry it. Most any color will do. I never pay attention to my furniture when I am painting.

Choose the background color if it has a print. Then choose a color from the furniture for curtains.

depends on the color of your furniture... look at the color samples in the paint store to compare to furniture color.
Funiture is in a rust or burnt orange family
I would stay neutral.
